Hey guys so I'm wondering if anyone knows how I can gt my stuff home for cheaper then I can find. Basically it's minimum 5000 for a uhaul and around the same for trained. Does anyone know a way cheaper mAybe some truckers who make the trip reguraly or some one who has room in a trailor. I really want to take my stuff like tools some sentimental stuff and my tank etc. But at 5000 it doesn't seem worth it unless I can find it cheaper.someone pls help me here or point me in the right direction???thanks agin guys your all awesome

Ouch

Depending on sizes and weights maybe look at shipping Canada Post or Greyhound? I have a sneaking suspicion that you'll find it more cost effective to sell off a lot of stuff and buy again when you get to wherever you're going.

Sure a train is that much? I shipped a car from Manitoba to Vancouver and it had it's own container all to itself and it was only like $900 or so.

Good luck, I've had friends make the move from Newfoundland to both Alberta and BC and its cost them upwards of $10K. Moving costs are insane, that $5K sounds like a sweet deal!

Have you thought about doing Uhaul but not leaving the truck in Newfoundland...instead taking back to the mainland where the drop-off charge might not be as big. Assuming Newfoundland is home.

can your vehicle tow a uhaul trailor?

$1400 for a 5x10 trailor or 6x12 trailor for the same.

I wonder... does anyone care enough to read signatures if you make them really small? I would not. I would probably moan and complain, read three words and swear once or twice. But since you made it this far, please rate my builds.

Had A friend who moved out east, he bought a trailer for much less than 5k and then sold it to someone else who was moving out here...
