green star polyps. Some people like them, others hate them. Will grow and take over your tank. Good on a rock, in the middle of the sand

they come in several shades of green as well as a beige color. as well they can look radically different with lots of flow (like what you have there). I always liked mine with less flow so the stalks stayed short and they looked like a bed of little flowers.

Definitely (the commonly known) Green Star Polyps, but more precisely known as a species of the Briareum genus.
