i have a candy hog fish in my 30 gal cube he just ripps all day

anthias........bartlet and squampini are the most suitable for an aquarium

Sorry to hijack but can anthias be kept in a 30 gallon?

Anthias should probably go in a larger tank.

I also vote for a nice flasher or fairy wrasse.

The smaller anthias (ie. Bartlett's, Randalls, etc) CAN be kept singly in a 30 gallon but the larger species definitely need a bigger tank. If you try to keep a few of them in that size tank they'll kill each other off. The only challenge with the anthias is the frequency with which they like to be fed.
