I use a Pentax Optio MX4. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/spec...x_optiomx4.asp
Its versatile and has 100x total zoom. Takes great movies too. I'm still learning the tricks behind it as well. Should still be on sale at Black's for $360.00.

I just bought a Sony 5.1MP DSC-P93A. It's alright but I would like something that took better close-ups and night pics.
Maybe I just need to learn to use it.
Here's the most recent pic.

Last fall we upgraded to the Nikon Coolpix 5400. We had a Kodak DC4800. The Kodak took great pictures, just point and shoot. Very easy to use. This picture was taken with the kodak:

The Nikon is a little bit too complicated for me but I am slowly playing around with it to try to understand all the settings. But it does take great pictures:

Well I decided to go with the 5.0Mega Pixel Canon Powershot A95.

WOW, what an amazing little machine! I just took a few pics of my Beta fish on my desk at work, and the detail in Macro is amazing!... If only I could get him to sit still!..lol

I'll take better pics when I learn all the settings at home

Thanks for all of your advice everyone!

I'm having some real problems going from a Sony to a Nikon - for sure the next one for me will be a Sony- it is way more user friendly.
