Hi Lynn, all you need to do is click on the "insert image" button (yellow), enter the url address, and your picture will appear. I noticed that you can't copy from "picturetrail.com" though, you will need to have those images on a hosting website such as Photo bucket etc.

Hi,
It would be nice to have a first attempt gallery..I am on my first attempt..and having a nightmare..every time I ask a question I have got either no replies or conflicting replies adding to my confusion..so I carried on upgrading continuously and expensively.
I started with FOWL and after 4 months am in the process of changing to a simple reef type.

Lynn,
There are sticky threads in the picture forum, where members can post a full tank pic. This is where the FTOTM committee scans for new tank pics.

One could also just post pics in the picture forum or even start a Tank Journal thread w/pics in the forum called the Tank Journal forum.

As Danny said, the pics need to be hosted someplace before posting here. Our own gallery serves that purpose, as well as other hosting places. You can of course just do a clickable attachment. The only place that pic needs to be, is in your own documents.

Here is a good link from the picture forum, on how to post pics.

I assume that means a newbie type forum? Or is it in reference to posting pics? This thread was originally about pics for the FTOTM. We had a forum for newer aquarists, but found it better to just have the threads in the main reef forum.

Most likely one will get several conflicting answers on many questions. This holds true to most all boards I have seen. However most questions seem to get decent answers. If you post a question on the main forum and it recieves no answer, perhaps bump it back to the top and someone should reply. There are also a ton of threads on most common questions, which a search should bring up.
