No he didn't just show up, he is a buddy of my step-son's and the only one that showed up on time other then Josh who was first to arrive for the move.

it just might take a day or so for little air pockets to dissapate or you said the skimers are running maybe its coming from that direction?

The sump looks clear after the skimmers but I have to add my carbon pouches into the skimmer boxes I built.

Well the tank has been running now for 12 hrs now and still seeing micro bubbles coming out of the returns and I am still baffled as to what is causing it.

I also had this problem when setting up the tank... I could not figure out where the microbubbles came from, then we found out tiny pin holes in some of the plumbing.

time to bring out the duct tape i hope its not all of the plumbing but you could try wrapping it a bit at a time and see if that is what it is im not sure what else you could do

There really is not that much plumbing to check for the return, the duct tape was exactly what I was thinking
