Awesome colours on those zoos!

Bob, I think Christy took the photos with her Coolpix? She mentions her 880 in another thread... Someone else was looking at a 4500 - awesome camera for macro shots.

Yup, its a Nikon Coolpix 880. I think you can pick one up off Ebay these days for a couple hundred bucks. It was discontinued the year before last I think. Not the greatest for action shots though IMO. Too much time between when you press the button and the shutter does its thing, even on higher shutter speeds. But well worth it for macros

Regarding the last pic, are those pink sponges? I have the same thing growing on my rock.

Thanks alan... the seem to be growing verrey quickly for me.

yup dekay those are pink sponges. i had the proper id a little while ago, if you want i will try to get it for you. they are great,, i rather like sponges and at last count i had 8 diffrent types

hey, since i have had to tell afew ppl what lives in my little box of the ocean here it is.

Fish : 2x clowns, Pair of Blue Gudgeon, Fire Fish.

Corals : Hammer coral, montiporia, sun coral, musrooms ( two difrent blues, green striped, and a red), Blue gorgangian, and a few zoos.

Invertebrates : Blue Legged crabs, snails(Nassarius, Astrea & Cerith), Burgandy Linka, Porcilen crab, 2x purple and a pink feather duster.
