Ok mine looks a bit different for sure, but fairly close. In person mine is quite a bit brighter than I am able to pick up with the camera. My photo does not show photography skills that are "totally epic fantasticness" that's for sure.

mouths are visible on mine, little less so on the top as the heads are closer together. Do wish my colours were as metallic as the first photo.

Its likely that yours looks exactly like the one in the first photo. The first photo was generated by a process called photo stacking. Photos are taken in series gradually focusing from the front of the subject to the back and then the photos are "stacked" on top of each other to generate a single photo. No doubt there was some "enhancement" along the way

Oh that's a cool process, never heard of it! That's how they can get the macro shots and still have focus depth. On macro, my camera has a very shallow depth of focus.

You can definitely still see the mouths on them and a lot of the green faces, but they did end up a little fuller than the pic on the site. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow when the lights come on for you Christy.

I have two different kinds of frogspawn. The more common one and this one which I don't see as often. This was a month or so ago when I first got it and actually believe it or not, it has colored up even more now. Its also started to really 'extend' its flesh way down the skeleton the past few weeks. One of my favs in my tank. Its never as 'bushy' as my other frogspawn but since its happier now than when I took this pic, it ids a little more 'open' and full.
