wow, now that is some flow. so in other words 15X is inadequate.

Based on your signature.... for the contents of your tank 15X is fine if you are not noticing any crap collecting... try to remember to clean your rockwork every once-and-a-while with a turkey baster and you'll be fine.

If you are looking for more nutrient poor systems then it is beneficial to have lots of flow... I plan at least 50X turnover for my BB 120

thanks for the input vanreefer. i've been debating to upgrade the 600's to 1200's but i dont know if it is reall worth while

Your calcium levels are good. No need to supplement Caunless it goes below 380 ppm.

If you go with a sump put the plumbing together with the right kind of glue!

When you notice a small problem, fix it, deal with it, get rid of it, etc. If you ignore it and hope it will go away, it will but only because it will now be a big problem instead of a small one.

Don't take shortcuts in the beginning, you'll end up spending more to do it right later anyway.
