i really like that idea i hate cleaning my koralias adn they just look out of place....i hope to utilise this on the future build of my 3 to 400g i want to build in my basement..leaning towards a plywood tank cant use glass daycare kids will throw a toy through it. would have to have acrilic front panel.

looks good griz hope the water test goes through good for you

How are you able to remove the pump, the inlet valve isn't a true union? is it a quick disconnect as Untamed mentioned?

#1 & 2 are 2" threaded fitting's that came with the pump and just unscrew to remove the pump. #3, 4, 5, & 6 are 1" couplers to remove the 4 way.

Hey Greg, so.. Umm.. Are you going to be able to remove that OM 4-way that you gotz there? Maybe you can make a YouTube video and demonstrate.

Sure can remove it fully just close all the 1" & 1 1/2" valves and unscrew the 1" unions and the 2" threaded fitting that attaches to the pump. #1, 3, 4, 5, & 6 and out it comes.
