I don't think its mainly because of the sand because last night when I went to bed after mixing the salt, the water was kinda clear but then after waking up in the morning, it was all cloudy. Probably because the temperature went above 80 or something.

if you mixed the salt water in cold water then heated it up its prob salt residue , going from cold to warm tends to make it encrust or its the calcium in it going from cold to warm, either way a good scrape and some flow it will clear up quickly

looking good brothar!!

Tank has cleared up well So I am a bit confused about something. I have 30+ pound of LR (cured) sitting in a bucket and I will also be using 20+ lb of LR in my tank. Can I put the new LR in today and then put the old rocks tomorrow? And how long can I keep the corals in a bucket without any issue?

Yeah you can add the rock when you like just be sure temp and salinity is good.

A heater and a small power head will allow you lots of time. Just consider how long it takes to ship a coral from South Pacific to Canada. I imagine your transferring the tank in one day?

One mistake I made on a previous transfer was that I put acros on frag rack while I should have taken them out before I system moving rock and sand. The ammonia and H2S killed all my deep waters.

Sorry to hear about that I will be sucking up some water from 20 gallon, transfer the corals and fishes and then will move the rock since I also have an experience of nitrate spike when I stirred the sand once.

Removed the light from the 20 gallon and turned it on over the 70 gallon. Gives a much better spread But I doubt whether these will be enough for the corals. Possibly will add two more T5s

Y not put the fish and coral in a tote until you get the rock in. That way there's no chance of dropping rock on coral or stress the fish more than needed.

Less clutter to work around too
