![]() Believe it or not, I had an acan that grew across 2 rocks. I had to move one, so I just tore the rocks apart. The split colonies have thrived. But yes, you can just cut in between them and you're good to go.

![]() Mines about the size of a fist and just bulges out slightly on part of the rock. I am taking down the tank and not using the rock in the next tank but want to frag the acan off. So I would need to break the rock itself or cut into the colony vertically from above? Thanks

![]() you could also take a chizzle and hammer , chip the rock around the acans rock breaks pretty easy that way
