Mine has never been too concerned about spreading the base. You have a lot of corals that are doing that. I think I have significantly higher flow than you do because I don't have (m)any LPS that I have to worry about blowing the flesh off of.

A couple new pics of the clam. I can't quite catch the blue in it - it's bluer than the photo, also the pattern is sharper. I just can't really get it right.

Here are the two LPS that are allowed to stay in my tank. The Rainbow Trachy I've had for several years now - it bleaches at the drop of a hat. This time it has a good reason as it's had a hard time getting used to the new lights. The Space Invader Pectina is also a bit bleached, but not as bad.

Space invader looks great! Looks like it's been doing some wild drugs though haahaa. That's a great growth pattern! Mine is flatter, with folded lobes. You see less of the raised skeletal features. I wish mine did more of that. Easier to frag like that as well.

That Pectina is pretty much the coolest thing I've ever seen. I don't know why people bother with SPS when stuff like that is available

Mine's usually puffier. It's been mad since I fragged it (again). Yours grows faster though - I think you said you feed yours? I don't feed mine.

That's why it gets to stay in my SPS tank.

Goes to show it works! I fed mine a few times when it was just a little frag, but not since.

I rearranged the rock a bit to make it more appealing until the corals grow in. The frags on the sand on the right won't be there long. I found a nice shady spot for the Trachy, and it's very happy. The anemone was migrating, so I peeled it off, and banned it to an island. It took the dummy Clowns a full 24 hours to find it even though it was only moved 10". You can see them in the pics hovering around where the anemone was.

I even found a shady spot for the Zoas.

Here's the new Desalwii frag.

The unknown piece (which is probably a second Desalwii, oops)

Echinata

Lokani (didn't make it)
