I have a Eco plus 1/4 horse bought at jl used last summer 3-4 months it's in perfect shape but would have to buy rich's chiller if you want lol maybe we can figure something out.also have a 1/10 th horse not being used but think it's a bit small.

Ryan - you didn't say how much for your 1/4 hp chiller?

What size tank did you run it on and was it sufficient?

Tyler, I ran a 1/4hp on my 150g with no concerns for sizing. Bigger just cools faster.

Thanks Brad. From what I've read (I've never owned a chiller) I thought a 1/4 hp would be ideal.

being smaller, it would run longer, so more heat generated, which, if it's in that back room, could be an issue. Thought about plumbing it to garage? Or at least vent the output through the ceiling?

Luckily I've had the mini fish room vented since day one.

Only problem now is i am running out of room if I add a chiller

It would keep up easy I had this on my 120 frag tank but room also has ac so didn't turn on much asking 350 because it's practically new.
