Alan, I picked that bulb because most people said they liked the blue color. That's it.
 I'm fairly happy with the sun aquatic/ radium combo but wanted a little more blue without adding more actinic's than my current T-5. Also my bulbs need replacing soon. Not sure weather to replace my 1 year old radiums or replace my 8ish month old Sun aquatics.
