Default Reef Octopus Skimmer POV-DC2 Dead

I got this skimmer from Concepts back in Feb and noticed that the pump died to night just right before New Years . Does anyone know what the warranty is on these pumps are and know what could of cause the pump to die in less then a year. I clean it on a regular basis to ensure its working well but it died tonight. Thoughts?

Check on RO website but I think it's at least 1 year on the pump.

Mine died too. Concept should have One year warranty. There was a problem with the first line of DC skimmer pumps.

Thats good to hear! They are closed today, will give them a try. What a bad timing for it to die.

I have one of the first Diablo dc skimmers and I had no issues with getting a replacement pump under warranty. The second pump now has gone over a year so fingers crossed it holds out, as it's still the old style pump

The vast majority of First Gen DC pumps had issues, most manufactures used the same OEM supplier. Now that there are second generation pumps and things are much more reliable
