Put my new Gyre in the tank today. Its very nice. I have a 7' peninsula and 12000gph on the overflow end but only about 900 - 1000gph flow on the open end from the returns. Its always frustrated me, but tank is doing well. Now I mounted the Gyre right at top on open end we'll see how it changes things up. I have it so high up that anything over 30% sucks air in so just testing at low right now.
Crazy flow when on high though.
