Default New best friends

I picked up a new clown for my current one. Amazing the size and color difference. Both are false clowns. I've feed my current one Cyclo-Peeze for that past 8 months or so. These were the best shots I could get. They took to each other right away, a few jerks, and general spasms and they were good to go.

What color difference ! Your original clown is the darker one ? Been meaning to try some. Trying to find it in frozen form. What are you using, flake, freeze dried or frozen ? They should get along great. One having to be the boss of coarse
very nice Walter,

very nice Walter,
Yes, the original one is dark red. It was about the same color as the smaller one when I first got it. I've just been using the flake. That's all it will eat. And yes, the bigger one already made it clear who the boss was. It did it's jig and shaking... friends now and the smaller one will not leave the side of the bigger one.

I really wanted the baby blue tangs they had (about the size of a toonie)at Big Al's But I refrained from it. I'll wait until the new tank is set up.

Percs come in different "colours" maybe the ocellaris do also. Or maybe it is the food. Would be cool if they stayed that colour.

Walter: what do you have your surface skimmer hooked up to? I had one on my fluval 304 and I got nothin but nasty bubbles out of it. Is there too much flow from my fluval that it's sucking in air?

Cyclo-Peeze changed the colour of my percs to from a dull orange to a dark almost fire red within a few months of feeding .[/quote]

The contrast of the two fish is quite impressive!
