![]() Aquariums near windows that get sunlight shining through will end up with algae problems almost guaranteed. You'd have to add a phosban reactor and keep your nutrients in check. The corals might love it, but you'd have to keep a very good clean up crew to keep the algae in check. Mexican turbos, Tiger cowries, etc.

yes, still new on this hobby but from what i've been reading, there's higher algae problem when sunlight and lots of nutrients are present. will definitely be purchasing some cleaners, how many mexican turbos, tiger cowries would I need for a small 24G tank? |

![]() Also consider the heat in the summer from the window will heat up your tanks water.
