![]() Which model of light specifically, i.e. how many LEDs and watts? 46 watts appears to be the highest power Fluval marine full spectrum that I could find on the web. That's a bit on the low side for a BTA I would think. Having said that, in my 77 gallon Hagen tank I had my BTA under a Hagen Glo 36" T5HO 2 lamp fixture for quite a few months until increasing the light intensity substantially. It did ok, but didn't really thrive. Once I added a couple of 250 watt MH lights, it was clearly doing way better. Now, after a couple of years under 27 multi chip 10 watt LEDs, it's doing famously. So that's over 200 watts as opposed to the most powerful Fluval Marine at 46 watts.
