cyano is red slime algae but doesn't cause shedding of flesh in lps

you could still have cyano but i doubt it would wipe out corals ive seen tanks infested with it and still pull through just fine

chemiclean is a great product and if you have cyano then a treatment is good , but where you are having issues i personally would resolve those first then battle the cyano

if worse comes to worse call matt and ask him to do a drop over and check the system out in person hes good like that and hell do it for you guys
