I don't think BTA will sting each other. They may compete for real estate but the loser will eventually move. I have had different colors immediately adjacent with no harm done. They may coexist for months, but don't be shocked when one or both go wandering again. Such is the nature of the beast.

I had a RBTA that stayed in the same spot for months and then one day, after no changes on my side it decided to go wandering and did that for a few more months before totally disappearing. I was disappointed because it was a pretty large on and the other RBTA in my tank hasn't so much as moved an inch.
