I was told by someone to cut a 45-degree notch in the end of a length of 1/2" PVC, and fit a razor blade half-deep in there. They claimed it made a great scraper.

Tried it today with some rigid tubing (5/8") and a single-edged blade - as far as scrapers go, it works real good.

Still can't decide about a magnet...
