they do have a tint to them but if you are strapped for cash from buying your ballasts and reflectors and you have never had MH be for they will be good. then at a later date you can upgrade the bulbs if you see fit. I am burning the SA 10K 250 watt bulbs right now and ya there is a slight green tint but it disappears with actinic VHO's on. I would actually buy these bulbs again if I could get them for the same price I paid for them.
On that note I think I have two 14K SA's here still that I might be willing to part with. they are nice if you like the radium blue look. Steve
