![]() I've had several RO and RO/DI systems over the years (3 hooked up right now) and I don't think I will ever get another that doesn't have a boost pump. The Vertex Deluxe Puratek has definitely been my favourite with it's auto flushing and other bells and whistles.
I can understand that you're on a budget but the time and water you'll save is worth the extra money. |

![]() Yes you will be good for awhile. You can always buy a TDS meter and test your water with the new filter and down the road once it starts to differ from original reading change filters

![]() I wouldn't get any replacement filters, you can find them easily enough locally. Definitely get a TDS meter, mine is inline so I know what it is whenever I make water.

![]() Might want to get a water report from your supplier and confirm what the water pressure in your house is. This will help you choose the proper system for your needs.
