It has tissue so I would say its very much alive. Maybe it just need some time to come out from the shock it received for being buried alive :P Previously, whenever I would see corals are a bit ****ed (less polyp extension and things like that), I would put few drops of amino to cheer them up. I use coral vitalizer now. Atleast, that's my experience.
