I'm guessing the guy who names the zoas doesn't do sponges.

The colour is crazy intense, it's really that blue in person. I've only seen purple ones.

Lol! Yeah. Blue photosynthetic sponge, (Collospongia sp.) would be my guess. Hey, come up with a cool name and you can sell frags for an obscene amount of money :-D

Did you say blue photosynthetic? Aren't these found at lower depths?
I can't think of a fancy pants name but if I do hopefully it will hockey stick.

Note that the blue sponge needs high light.

+1 needs LOTS of light, fairly common on this side of the woods.

Hey Chris, just remember to add "ultra" at the front of whatever name you give your sponge frags...that's where the $$$$ at yo!!!
