congrats! imagine how much salt you're not going to be able to buy as funds are diverted to gassing, insuring, and repairing your new car

Anyhow, I know lots of you are very familiar with car mechanics and I found something out (even while test driving the car). There's an squeaking sound coming from the rear right side around the wheel. Its sounds like when you leave the trunk open and drive. No shaking while driving or mishandle. The noise gets prominent while on bumpy roads. So today, I gave some strong shaking and found the source of the noise. Its behind the right rear wheel (called axle or something?). Didn't want to spend money on mechanic if its not an issue (heard that its probably due to winter). Anyone got any idea? Here's a pic for reference:

Shock or strut? I had a shock go a few years ago on a newer car, made a clunking noise going over bumps.
