Wait a second, this is my thread!

Thanks for the info. I do want to shop it out first, so I will check out Corix first.

Gate valves at Home Depot good luck my Home Depot only has PVC 1/2 to 1" corix is the cheapest for PVC. No point of price shopping everything is about half price or lower then Home Depot and Rona. sherit would be very close in comparison for prices.

Gate valves are cheaper at Corix than your LFS

Here's a sample of the prices.

Spears Gate Valve - FPT
1" $20
3/4" $17
1/2" $14

Spears Check Valves - flap
1" $18
3/4" $17
1/2" $10

Please keep in mind, you'll need to contact your local Corix store for prices.

Good luck!

I second Corix and Andrew Sheret. I used to go to the Corix in Cloverdale but they've closed that location They were super helpful and even sold me short scraps of PVC pipe at a good price. Shopped at Andrew Sheret in Langley a couple times too and they had great prices as well.

Ron99,

is that the one on 56th just off 200th?

if yes, they're GREAT to deal with. I've been there a few times from Coquitlam.
