I love my bulb, my nano is out of control! And the fuge bulb doubled my macro algae, mangroves and chaeto!

how hot does this fuge lamp gets?
So hot you need a fan to cool it down or this fan is for something else? |

not any hotter then would be normal. The fan in picture was existing already before lamp went in.
They are dimmable with a standard dimmer switch and the goosenecks are 24" to the end of the flexible neck so overall is about 30" clamp to bulb.

yeah, that's why I mentioned that the fan was an optical illusion. That fan is in a different compartment completely...I just used it during the summer to blow over the return area and never took it down yet.
Sorry for the confusion. Lamp stays pretty cool as the heat sink is huge on it.
