oh yes, the glass on an HQI DE is a must! They are not UV shielded like Single Ended mogals are. You'll burn everything in its path without the UV glass!

What unit are you wanting. Halide or t5 hybrid?

If you want a t5 hybrid you don't necessarily have to go out and buy a whole new unit. You can simply add a T5 retrofit kit to your existing LEDs. There, instant hybrid :-) Probably cheaper this way too.

wow it all makes so much sense now. there has been alot of things going on with my corals that i couldnt explain or figure out.
