![]() Im not 100 percent sure, but I think if green algae. It could be too much nutrients in tank or too much light..
Dark red algae is more of a old light sign... can somebody back me up on this? |

![]() I'm having the same problem with hair algae. I've been battling it for months! I just added a phosban reactor with rowaphos a couple months ago. It's slowed down but still a pain to get under control

![]() Im pretty sure if you cut down the lighting it will help too.. but it xould be high nutrients in system or your livw rock is full of crap

![]() I'm thinking maybe there's crap in my rock. I shut my system down last winter for a while because I was out of town working so much. I just shut the lighting at temp off and kept circulation. If I cut back on lighting am I going to have issues with my sps?
