Same with me. With my old MH lights, I would switch to reverse photoperiod at that point and turn on my AC unit.

I want to know who is panicking when their tank reaches 78 degrees!! I would be panicked 365 days a year if that were my case

if the temp goes any higher that tang he's got in there actually wakes up and starts trying to swim around.

My tank was at 84 Tuesday and I didn't have a panic attack so I guess it must be higher than that.

I hit 85 on Monday morning. I quickly got the temp down with A/C and a direct fan, now it's hovering at 79.9. I had no ill effects from the high temperature, it went up slow, came down slow.
