Take the blade out when you are done or else it will become rusty, or you can just keep buying blades.

I also got my Easy Blade from J&L
As Rich mentioned it ... I rinse and dry it after every use, but I leave it attached

Yup, saw that as soon as I tucked my scraper off to one side. I started to walk away and thought, no, better take that out of there. Good catch, thanks guys!
