Default Red gracilaria algae faint white lines

I've been having an issue where my red gracilaria algae has faint white lines pretty much matching its growth pattern leading me to believe it's suffering a deficiency since the growth rate is still very fast. So I'm wondering if anyone has had this issue themselves.

since i've yet to get a response i took a picture to better show what i mean:

It keeps growing like the weed it is, in the sump where it gets much less light, its a much more lush red. But i guess in the Display tank the PAR it gets is driving its growth faster than the available nutrients.

since i cannot edit, it looks more like a Fauchea sp macro algae than a red gracilaria.
