Default reef octopus bh2000. micro bubbles

I have hang on back reef octopus bh2000 for almost month and half. It still making lots of micro bubbles. Anybody know how long it will take to break in.

im not too sure if micro bubbles go away after 'break in' ... they might. If nothing is changing maybe put something over the output like filter pad.
Is there any filter pad that is supposed to be placed in or around that skimmer? i remember seeing something like that when looking at that skimmer

There is already filter pad in it. It is taking junk out. Im just running night time is it okay?

it is always best to run your skimmer 24/7
