I have no problem paying for salt. It's the cheapest part of the hobby

I spend $400-500 on salt annually. Its the second most expensive thing about this hobby after electricity in terms of operating expenses for my tank. But try King Eds like Werbo said. Buckets were $30+tax for me too back in November so I bought a truck load.

I would sure be interested in buying a bunch if anyone else wanted to go in on an order for Victoria/island.

or maybe a road trip to van with a share of the costs covered by all the buyers??

we'd need to coordinate with the lfs though - to ensure they had enough for us - so it's not a wasted trip.

I would be Interested In that, I just got a bucket for 45 so I'm good for a few more water changes!

maybe one of the island stores would be interested in bringing in a pallet of salt for us at a discount.........
