I did this for a while and ran a small circ pump in my food chamber (ReefSnow) for a few minutes before the dosing pump turned on. Circ pump was on a timer... if you leave it on all day it can heat the food up too much. Also, I needed to run a short line from the chamber to the tank as the food settled in the hose. Overall, I didn't like it for foods that require shaking, but for others dosers are great.

My intention is to provide a steady food system for my filter feeders, i currently have a fauna marlin food recipe blend that is working really well! and I would like to have it streamed in steady.
