Default My first reef tank

Well here it is, my first reef....

It is a 55 gal dutch style acrylic tank.

Hardware:
2x 175w MH w/ 10,000 Ushio lamps
2x 36" NO actinics
Tronic 250 watt heater
DIY Skimmer
4x 300gph power heads
(getting drilled and adding a refugium VERY soon.)

Livestock (not much yet, tank has only been up a few months):
100lbs Fiji rock
110 lbs DSB
1 12" LTA
1 Lawnmower Blenny
40 assorted snails/crabs
2x fire shrimp
more to come soon tho not many fish.

well here it goes....

This is what i started with,

now here it is...

Anyway please feel free to point out things i can change to make it better. As i said this is my first reef so i am unsure of what i am doing ( I have not seen any other reef's in person to see if i am doing it right or not).

Last saltwater tank i did was 15+ years ago with an undergravel filter and a shop light. how the times have changed.

Wow looks good so far. I was "kinda" scared when I saw the first picture .

Love the big rocks you've got in your tank.

Looking good. That's an interesting paint job on the stand. Does it have texture to it or is the finish smooth?

by the way the aquascape is made of lots of medium size rocks. about 15-20 or so. It blends together nicely tho.

I think anyway
