yeah, I'm not the kind to treat my dog with over protectiveness etc... I go to the dog park and let him figure out on his own what happens when he jumps up on the wrong big dog (still does it and gets his butt whooped about once a month... he just gets chased, ran over, knocked down, and has to power through it until the other dog is disinterested). It was either leave him home, or ride really really really slowly (he's a pug), or the backpack. It ain't easy taking on hills or riding single tracks with a 20lb pug on my back!
