![]() Update!! And any advice is welcome. I continued the cupramine treatment for a total of 3 weeks , but because the hawkfish was originally having problems I had lowered the dose to 0.3. Unfortunately a couple times during the 3 weeks I noticed during testing the copper was about 0.2. After 3 weeks I added carbon , did a large water change and treated with prazipro for the next 7 days ,which brings me to today. Today I noticed my royal gramma flashing and rubbing itself against the PVC tubes , and only a little flashing from the hawkfish. I can't see any spots on either fish , but something is obviously irritating them. What should I do? Treat with cupramine again making sure to keep it at or above 0.3 Or should i treat with hyposalinity? Does hypo only treat ich? Since I don't see any spots could it be some other type of parasite?

![]() maybe try just your regular water without any treatment to see if it calms the fish down

![]() It could be the treatments actually irritating the fish and not parasites. Which is why the hyposalinity seems to be a better option. I am by no means an expert in quarantine but I would do a massive water change and switch to hyposalinity for a period of time and observe.
