thanks :-) The upside is that it's kind of like a new build but without the building part. Sorta like fast forwarding to the end of a build after all the rockscaping has been done and the tank has been cycled. Now all I need to do is add livestock :-)

I did sit in front of the tank for a bit and contemplated what I might do differently but in the end, I couldn't come up with anything, really. I still love the design of the tank, love my aquascaping, my support system underneath. Aside from possibly getting a new skimmer and maybe switching to LED, I don't plan to change anything. I especially liked the fact that I could aggressively take a cleaning brush to all of my rock structures and they didn't move an inch.

On another note, I've been trolling the various forums to see what everyone's been up to but saddened to see that some great systems have been shut down I understand that life has a tendency to get in the way of this hobby though.. I've been there (a couple of times).

And on yet another note, since I am dishing out here, what kind of person vandalises a fish store for god's sake? This person (or people) clearly are devoid of morals which is extremely troubling to me. I can't help but go back to the parents though and place partial blame on them. Why have they not been taught respect? Yes, I am judging, deal with it. I have kids and if I ever found out that they disrespected someone like this I would seriously rip them a new one!

Anyway, off my soap box. Sorry, carry on!

You say that now, but once my name starts appearing on all the new livestock in the city again you will wish that I stayed in hibernation

I can't tell you how much I agree with you. Losing RC in Calgary is just such a shame, especially because of such a reckless act.
