Default ROWAphos Drying Out

My ROWAphos is drying out.

I have enough for one more change, and then I need to purchase more. That change is still a couple of months away, however. The instructions indicate that it shouldn't be allowed to dry out . . . but I don't know if it really makes any difference or not.

Should I rehydrate it with ro/di, or just leave it?

I used to put an apple slice in my tobacco. A bad idea, I think, for the ROWA. I'll try the cotton ball thing. It isn't completely dried out yet.

J&L has 5KG bucket for 169.95, and it looks like it would qualify for free shipping.

If the bucket was to be divided, the savings would be good (I'm sure). I can't figure out what the potential savings are, however, as this bucket is measured in KG while the other packages are measured in mL.

I prefer to use ROWAphos (http://www.theaquariumsolution.com/r...ste-your-money), but I'd be willing to try something else.

We can chat about it on Saturday. You know I'm stopping by at noon, right?
