Default Mini carpet killed my fox face.

My mini carpet killed my fox face last night, woke up and all I could see was his tail hanging out. Has this happened to anyone else?

I would fear for your mini carpet now!! Unless it was the size of a Chromis that's a pretty big meal.. I have 20 or so minis, but have never witnessed anything like that, but I had a Fire fish go missing ... who knows??

My fox face was healthy, but was a baby had only had him maybe 2 months. I think when lights went out he probably went and sat on the nem thinking it was bed time.

Do you mean a small carpet anemone or a maxi mini anemone? There is a big difference between the two. Carpet anemones are known to eat fish regardless of size, maxi mini's are pretty small and generally do not eat fish. Maxi mini's may eat very small trimma type gobies, if one was to sit on it, but other then that they are usually safe with fish.

I would bet the foxface was dead already and simply floated into the mini carpet.

NO way it could catch a foxface other than this.
