Default FS: Skimz SM201 Protein Skimmer -- Edmonton

Up for sale is my SKIMZ E-SERIES SM201 Skimmer. This easily kept up with my medium stocked 280 gallon water volume, it runs extremely quiet and has about a year of run time on it.

Reason for selling: I was given the honor of testing the new CSC-400 and really like the performance. I don't have a need for two skimmers.

Manufactures specs:
ES5000 needle wheel pump (starts great every time, runs quiet, no wear)
20W power consumption
960l/h Air intake
9.2x9.2x21.5 inches
Designed for in sump use
Rated for up to 500 gallons (I'd say 300 gallon well stocked tank)

Price: $350 shipped or $300 local pickup.

PM or email wayne@mahmail.ca

Thanks for looking!

Would this be good for a 250g total system with a heavy fish load?

I suppose it depends on what you consider a heavy fish load...

I have two yellow tangs, regal tang, red sea sailfin tang, fox face, 4 chromis, 6 threadfin, Christmas wrasse, melanurus wrasse, royal pencil wrasse, leopard wrasse, six line wrasse, diamond goby, 3 lyretail, 2 stocky pink, banggai, clown and cleanup crew. I consider this medium compared to other tanks I've seen.
