If you stop feeding your fish and give him only aiptasia to eat...see how long he's going to live

I placed a clam covered in baby aiptasias into the tank and the cbb had half of them cleaned off the shell before the clam reached the sandbed.....

Not that I'm disagreeing with anyone but there are definitely fish, crustaceans, etc that have adapted to eat a multitude of poisonous things including anemones and aptasia. Why would a copperband be any different? Although I agree it shouldn't be it's only substance in their diet but I can't see it being bad for their health from what most people have experienced. I feel like I should also add a smiley face now

Unfortunatly it didn't make it. It refused white worms, blood worms, garlic soaked mysis, and anything else i tried, it would only eat Brine. It was my third attempt. I didn't treat it for Flukes, or any other type of parisites initially, because of no tell tale signs. That might have been the issue. If i try again, i'll automatically treat it with Prazipro, and and see if that was the issue.

It has nothing to do with the food you fed, parasites or cyanide. I am sorry it did not survive

The death of this fish is the common outcome of copperbands. They are extremely difficult to keep. They live for a few months and slowly die for no apparent reason.

Please do not 'try again,

Wayne
