Default DIY LED's for 120g

Hello,

After having lots of problems with my MH/T5 fixture I'm thinking of switching to a DIY LED setup. What would be recommended for a tank that is 48"x24"x24"? I have SPS at about 12" and up and LPS and softies at 12" and lower. I looked at the 4' package, but it says it's recommended for tanks 18" to 20".

I was also wondering if anyone had recommendations for building a fixture around these DIY LED's.

Thanks!

Hey if you PM me your email address I will send you some information and the exact numbers of LEDs you would need its going to be very similar to the 4 foot kit however it might workout better running inventronics drivers rather than meanwells.

You could switch out the one non-dimming driver I used to a larger inventronics driver and get a few extra LED boards that are dimmable as well. If you have SPS, I'd probably go with an Invetronics 50W and you'd get 6 more LED boards(12 more LED's). If you want a lot of power, you could get the 75W driver instead and get 11 more LED boards(22 more LED`s) and have a tonne of light.
