Default Salinity levels.

Hi,

The range is between 1.020 to 1.024 for the majority of natural salt water bodies around the world (there are some exceptions). So, anywhere in between is fine (such as 1.023).

Many reefers like to keep it higher than 1.024 (like 1.025 to 1.026) because it helps kill bacteria, viruses and parasites that can thrive in normal saltity levels. This is a popular technique for those keeping SPS -- it helps ward off RTN.
