it seems my other fish do not like him yet, and i tried to feed it by hand as the guy at the store for fishys said it is very friendly......when it bites your fingers off what does that mean?? amonia perhaps?? i should add another and see if that helps with the aggression

Are you positive it is a dolphin? Sounds more like a great white. Easy to confuse the two as they look almost identical, except for the drain on top of the dolphin's head.

nope im positive its a dolphin, they are very common in albertas lakes and rivers, hence the cheap price i imagine

i have noticed that its picking at my clams though....think i need a waterchange:P

A complete cycle should do the trick. BTW, is it a Rocky Mountain Dolphin or the prairie variety?

hopefully its the rocky mountain variety....Ive heard they are easier to keep.....the prairie dolphin feeds heavily on prairie oysters, which can be hard to come by sometimes....
