![]() For years I kept what I refer to as a remote deep sand bed. I had 6" of sand inside a good size tupperware container that I sat inside my sump. That way, if I ever wanted to pull out the DSB, it was easy and not a PITA. When I sold off that tank, taking out the DSB was easy as pie.

Gonna start out with it bare and thow some live rock and chaeto in there and see how it goes. Saw some mangrove plants at the lfs got me thinking of making a seperate tank in a living room and having them grow out into the room. I know they are slow growers but a small shallow lagoon would be cool. |
